We thought it would be fun to hold a chinchilla photo contest with a $50 gift certificate from Amazon.com as the prize for the winner. All you have to do is e-mail us the cutest picture you have of a chinchilla.

Here are the rules:

• Submissions will be accepted until July 31, 2006.
• We will pick the picture we like the best. This could be a funny picture, a cute picture, or the most creative picture. We'll know it when we see it.
• The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate from Amazon via e-mail.
• Once submitted, we, ChinchillaPlanet.com, will be free to display them on this site in future posts/galleries.
• We reserve the right to adjust all photos as needed e.g. size, color, cropping.
• Do not submit more than 5 photos.
• Please include the chinchilla's name, color, and approximate age. Feel free to provide more info if you like.
• Do not submit someone else's photo. It must be a photo of YOUR chinchilla.
